Who sets up the jumping castle?
The jumping castle will be set up and dismantled by a fully trained staff member.
How long does it take to set up the jumping castle?
It takes around 10-15 mins to set up.
How long does it take to dismantle the jumping castle?
It takes around 20 mins to dismantle.
How long can I have the jumping castle?
4 or 7 hour hire.
For safety reasons, the following times are the latest our castles are able to be booked to:
November until the end of March 7pm.
April until the end of October 5pm.
Does someone need to supervise the operation of the jumping castle?
Yes.-for the safety of the children who will use the jumping castle. A responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the jumping castle at all times. There will be training given in the operating instructions for the jumping castle on the day of the hire.
How and when is payment made?
Cash on delivery prior to set up.
If businesses are paying by cheque please advise us when making the booking.”
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry 10million dollar public liability insurance. Please let us know if you require a copy of our certificate of currency.
What happens if it rains?
Our castles are sun/rainproof and enclosed. In the event of strong winds or rain, AJR Bounce for Fun reserve the right to cancel the booking if we feel safety will be compromised. In this case we will contact you promptly to discuss the matter.
Are the set up and dismantling times included in the hire time?
No, we will set up the castle before the requested hire time starts and it will be taken down after the requested hire time concludes. We do request that there is clear access and there is room to manoeuvre the jumping castle to the set up area.
How much access space is required to get the jumping castle to the set up area?
Access ways need to allow for at least 1m width of space.
What if there are steps to get to the set area?
If there are steps you will need to notify us when making the booking as the jumping castles weigh between 100kg and 160kg and it is difficult to manoeuvre up and down steps.
As a general rule: If there are more than 5 steps there needs to be someone on site that can help manoeuvre the jumping castle. Please advise if there are more than 5 steps.
Can we move the jumping castle during the hire period?
No, please do not attempt to move the jumping castle once set up due to safety requirements. Penalties may apply if castle is moved.
What surface can the jumping castle be set up on?
The jumping castle can go on grass, dirt, concrete, paving or asphalt as long as the area is flat, and there are no ridges (i.e.: between a change of surface). Please inform us if the jumping castle will be erected on a surface that does not allow for pegs to be used (i.e.: asphalt, concrete, paving).
Can the jumping castle be in contact with walls or trees?
No, the jumping castle must be at least 0.5 meter away from any object. If the jumping castle is in contact with any object it may cause the jumping castle to suffer abrasion damage. Also there may be a safety issue if the children on the castle make contact with the object.
What happens if we damage the jumping castle?
If the damage is considered to be malicious then you will be liable for the full cost of repairs, transport costs associated with the repairs and the loss of business costs while the castle is repaired. We keep a record of the condition of our castles and would advise you to check the jumping castle before the delivery person leaves, and note any problems.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Please be aware that streamers, poppers, face paint, chewing gum, food and drink MUST be kept away from the jumping castle at all times. If the above-mentioned items are in contact with the jumping castle and it has been damaged it will be consider malicious and you will be liable for the full cost of cleaning, repairs, transport costs associated with the repairs and the loss of business costs while the castle is repaired.
A Copy of our rental agreement must be agreed to and signed before set up has begun
Customer is responsible for providing power to operate the blower.
